Shipment Day: AHUs Bound for the REPT BATTERO Lithium Battery Project
The project
REPT BATTERO is one of China’s fast-growing lithium battery manufacturers, building large-scale production capacity for energy storage and EV cells. Like every battery plant, its workshops live or die by stable air: temperature and humidity must stay inside tight bands around the clock, because even small drifts in the wrong zone show up later as yield loss.
After a technical selection process covering equipment configuration, energy performance and control integration, Taile’s commercial HVAC package was chosen for the project. The first batch of units has now passed factory inspection and left our Huizhou plant for the project site.
What a Taile shipment actually looks like
Delivery day is not just loading a truck. Every unit in this batch went through the same routine before it touched the trailer:
- Model-by-model verification. QC staff cross-checked each unit’s model tag against the delivery list and its factory test report, and confirmed casing, piping and control cabinet condition one by one.
- Protective packing. Units are wrapped and corner-protected so that road vibration and handling cannot scuff coils or deform panels. Coil fins are the part most often damaged in careless transport; a dented coil is a performance loss the customer pays for every year.
- Supervised loading and fixing. The warehouse and rigging team secure each unit to the deck, and the project lead verifies documents against the manifest so the site receives exactly what was ordered.
Why battery plants buy on reliability, not just price
A lithium battery plant runs its air systems continuously. An AHU that trips on a summer afternoon stops a production line, and one stopped shift costs more than the difference between a cheap unit and a good one. That is why new-energy projects put vendor units through weeks of technical review before award, and why the questions are rarely about catalog specs. They are about part-load behavior, control response, and what happens when something needs service two years in.
The units in this batch are configured for stable continuous duty with linked control, so the plant’s BMS can see and trim temperature and humidity across zones as one system instead of chasing individual machines.
What happens after the truck leaves
This shipment is one step in the project, not the finish line. Our engineers track arrival at the site, support the installation crew with technical guidance during rigging, piping and electrical hookup, and stay on call through commissioning and early operation. The equipment is ours to build; the outcome is ours to support.
